LETA is a part-council part-business-owner group, and working with Visit Lynton & Lynmouth, and other local associations, is tasked with ensuring the ongoing prosperity of tourism and the business economy in Lynton & Lynmouth, and the surrounding area
Vision & Intent
Is to ensure the ongoing prosperity of tourism and business economy in Lynton & Lynmouth, and the Lyn Valley area. Through strategic thinking and planning we will strive to promote Lynton & Lynmouth to improve short and long stays in our towns.
By engaging and working with the local and rural business community we will continue to invest time and available funds in driving tourism popularity and prosperity for all businesses and trades.
It is LETA’s intention to devise, source and implement ways to promote Lynton & Lynmouth as a go-to destination for families, couples, groups and solo travellers.
As a group and as individuals, LETA is committed to helping sustain and improve tourism and the business economy for the whole Lyn Valley area.
Our Mission
- To attract visitors and promote Lynton & Lynmouth, to help drive increased tourism to support our local businesses.
- To help generate, grow or improve trade and industry prosperity where possible.
- To ensure Visit Lynton & Lynmouth is a self-sustaining, not-for-profit tourism organisation that remains independent and self-reliant, and continues to define the Lynton & Lynmouth brand.
- To provide a unified and consistent brand and an online ‘place to land’ that inspires and encourages visitors to Lynton & Lynmouth, and the surrounding area.
- Engage with other local programs, for example ... ‘Lyn in Bloom’ and 'Walkers are Welcome'
