50 years of the Lyn & Exmoor Museum
Today (12 July 2012) marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Lyn & Exmoor Museum in Lynton, Exmoor's first ever museum.
Llama Festival 2012
This year's Llama Festival of Arts and Music took place on it's usual second weekend in June. The weather did it's best to challenge organisers, but thousands of people still came and had a fantastic weekend.
Olympic Torch Relay
The Olympic Torch passed through Lynton and Lynmouth today as part of its relay leg from Exeter to Taunton. The town was lined with residents and visitors, who all got to see the flame pass on its way onwards towards the opening of the London 2012 Olympics in July.
Walkers are Welcome
Lynton & Lynmouth has successfully gained the Walkers are Welcome accreditation for the town and surroundings.
